[edit] Kyriakos

Kyriakos (talk · contribs) I first contributed to Wikipedia in April 2005. Since then I have created over a 100 articles. I have over 3,700 edits. I only became active in August and in the six months since then I have made 3200+ of my edits. I'm looking forward to this review as I want to know were I can improve and how I can be a better Wikipedian. Thanks. Kyriakos 03:30, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

Reviews

  • 100 articles, eh? Quite a number. And you have 4,168 edits... :) First off, you appear to be a history buff, so I salute you. You've certainly pulled super duty on Cretan War, so congrats on helping to get it to FA. It's satisfying to create and article and then get it all the way... You're also a vocal user and from what I can see have never had any greivances against you... the only thing I can say is to get around more at AfDs, let your input be heard, and perhaps think about giving us a hand over at WP:GAC (the history area in general could use help). I wouldn't say do some RCp, because your mainspace contribs are excellent. Its funny when the really good editors apply for reviews, I mean, what am I supposed to say? :) Keep up the good work! • You are a great editor, and an active member of WP:MILHIST. My opinion is that you should voice a bit more yourself in Wikipedia space, and I also agree that you should participate a bit more in AfDs. The fact that you have no grievances against you is a great advantage, but it seems that you have also avoided all controversial issues. Try to make your mark in Wikipedia a bit more! If you can combine this lack of grievances against you with a more active participation in articles' talk pages, Wikipedia space and contributions to peer-reviewes or to GAC, FARC, FAC (to one or more of them!), this would be a great achievement.--Yannismarou 10:27, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
'Of all my articles I am most proud of the Cretan War. I created it in June 2006 and after 5 months of continous editting and research I finally got it to FA. I am also happy with the Roman-Spartan War which I am working on at the moment. I am also rewriting the Maniots article in collaboration with Deucalionite.
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
Fortunately I have not been involved in anything big. I usually work on non-controversial articles but I was once caught in a editting war between two users in the homosexuality in ancient Greece artic;e.
