[edit] Ksy92003

Ksy92003 (talk · contribs) It has been over five months since my first editor review. The main problem I had back then was that I got into too many conflicts; it seemed like a weekly basis for me. Since then, I haven't had nearly as many problems, and I think I'm doing a much better job. Ksy92003 (talk) 23:03, 25 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Review by Jj137

  • Hi again Ksy. I read through this page and looked at your contribs (through the link in the comments section) and I'll try to comment and help as much as I can. Here's some things I've "found"; I'll try to just list them, because otherwise it will be jumbled and out of order.
  • At your last editor review/RfA, it seems like one of the main concerns were conflicts with other users. You said above, that has pretty much stopped, which is very good. Hopefully that won't come back to haunt you.
  • Your contribs are well-namespace balanced (I guess that's how you would say it), meaning you have a good amount of contributions in several different namespaces, as well as plenty in the mainspace.
  • 2007 Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim season looks very good. You said you still need to finish it, and the only thing I can think of to add to it is a complete roster. (Obviously that's just my opinion.)
  • The 5 WP:DYKs are very good.
  • Perfect edit summary usage (that's what it looks like from the summary). That's a plus.
  • Plenty of experience time wise and edit count wise (~10700 undeleted, you've been here since November 2006).
  • Good work so far with WP:LAA.
  • Good job with baseball articles. According to your userpage, you've created 148 biographies (wow). Baseball is always an area that needs work.
  • One GA - that's very good.

OK... as of right now I can't think/find anything you definitely need to improve upon, but I'll add it here if I find something. Best of luck.   jj137 (talk) 00:47, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
I am quite proud of my work in creating articles for a great group of small-name baseball players, few of which I have helped develop the article to WP:DYK-worthy status; I have five successful DYKs, and have never had one rejected. For those articles, I believe I've done a good job at developing a good summary for the player's MLB career, with plenty of references and quality information.
I am also proud of the work I've done to 2007 Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim season, which most, if not all, of the information I have added to the article. I had to stop working on the article because of whatever reason (I don't remember; it was eight months ago), and hope to finish the article as soon as time allows it. Over the weekend, I have also worked diligently with RyRy5 (talk · contribs) in developing Wikipedia:WikiProject Los Angeles Angels‎, which I hope will be a great contribution to the sports and baseball projects on Wikipedia.
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
Since my first review, I haven't gotten into any bad conflicts. There have been a couple times where there were minor disagreements between myself and some other users. In every instance, I have simply remained calm and tried to create a peaceful environment so nothing bad could come from the disagreement. I think that it's important to create an environment that can prevent hostility and I think that makes it much easier to work through disagreements.
