Jonathan (talk · contribs) I originally joined in March 2006 under this account, however I forgot the password and created a new account under the name of Jonjonbt, and I got renamed to Jonathan in September 2007. Now that I've given you my account history, I would like to be reviewed to see anything I'm doing wrong, or what I need to keep doing. Any criticism or comments are appreciated! Hi Jonathon. I think you're doing some great work so far. I see you now use 100% edit summaries which is great. Your editing pace appears to be consistent which is also good. Everything seems fine in terms of user interaction. My only concern is WP:CSD knowledge. For example this was certainly not an A7 and this can't really be speedy deleted due to assertions of notability. I'd recommend you read up on the policies and their interpretations. Other than that you're doing great - thank you for you contributions. Pedro : Chat 15:17, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for your comments! I am actually trying to memorize the CSD in a way, and I haven't got too far yet (only about half of the general criteria and A7). Anyways, sometimes I get a little caught up and end up nominating almost article I see for deletion. Once again, thanks for your comments! - As Pedro said, I recommend familiarizing yourself with WP:CSD (but for the love of God, don't try to memorize it all :-) ). One thing I also recommend is familiarizing yourself with how AWB works, bot policy, etc., because I think you could make some good bots if you knew how to take full advantage of AWB. - Thanks for your comments! I am working with AWB very little at the moment (my bot has not been approved) but I guess I can work with it a little more :) Jonathan letters to the editor—my work 16:52, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
- I see you continuing to develop as a Wikipedian, including introducing more sources to articles and continuing to study up on policy. As I mentioned to you elsewhere, all of us have little set-backs on the site from time to time (an idea isn't approved, etc.) and I think you are learning to take that sort of thing more in stride. Keep up the good work as I hope to see you editing and contributing to this project for many years to come. Newyorkbrad 21:20, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
