Jamessugrono (talk · contribs) Hi, I've been around for a while — not active for that long, perhaps a couple of months — and I'd like an opinion as to my worth on Wikipedia. Certainly, it would be great to know that I'm needed. But one way or another, I would like some sort of judgment on what I've done, as well as what people think that I should do. Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
My closest friends have said it to me before, so I'll repeat them here. I'm a jack of all trades, master of none. Occasionally, I'll do some RC or New Page patrolling, others, I'll just take a look at my watchlist and make sure none of those changes are vandalism. However, I have recently re-organized the neutrality project, which was backlogged and most people who supported it didn't really do so. It is now much more efficient, although I hate to think about the people whose requests have never been reviewed. I'll probably take a look at them later. Another WikiProject that I'm particularly pleased with my involvement in, having helped to create it, is the WikiProject World Heritage Sites. Although it is quite new, we have rated a great deal of World Heritage Site and World Heritage Site-related articles, and developed templates for use. The useful feature of the template, I believe, is the B-Class checklist. It allows the reviewer to easily compare the article against a set of criteria, and it allows the editors of that article to improve the article to meet those standards. As the quality should be the same across projects, there are some article which are B-Class which I don't agree with, mostly due to referencing issues, but I have let them be because other editors have already had a go at them.
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
The incident which comes to mind is the mis-assessment of the Fort Street High School article, one which I am personally biased towards. It concerned its assessment as compared to that of Newington College. Because of my haste and bias, I missed some important points in each article. However,it would seem that I was correct in my assertion that one or both articles were mis-assessed. The consensus reached was that both articles were Top importance. I have since tried to stay away from articles which I'm biased against or towards. Apart from this issue, I doubt there are others which are particularly important.
