Reviews

Hi, I reviewed your talk page, the links you gave for Q2, etc. My conclusions are:

  1. You're okay as an article writer. I am particularly impressed by your detailed edit summaries (I have no patience for such things).
  2. You are also good at communicating and compromising with other users. You've made a couple of mistakes, but you compromised when you were partially right, and conceded honorably when the other person was right. That is exactly how minor disputes should get resolved, so you have behaved as close to a model citizen.
  3. You should step out into the world out there and widen your perspective. I say this because your two significant disputes revolved around the capitalization of the letter D and the airdates of a TV series. Take a moment to whack yourself on the head and ask, "Why should I care?" There is so much cleanup to be done in the far reaches of Wikipedia, where mere mortals fear to tread, that it's just not worthwhile to argue about such small things. Wikipedia has worse problems to deal with than bad capitalization, and so do you. I wish you good luck. YechielMan 06:51, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
Yes, a few, in fact. I am pleased with creating the List of Tru Calling characters page, List of Boston Public episodes page (the latter of which I did manually), I've created a few seasons worth of x-files episode articles. I've uploaded some pictures of the web series, Sanctuary, etc..
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
I've had a few 'conflicts', particularly, here and here, but I let it go, because I did not want to start an edit war, and the other user was right. I probably could have done it better, particularly with being not rude about it, and leaving it on the talk page instead of just doing it, also here, but I knew the other user was right, in that I did not have a good source, so again, I backed off.. So, I may have had some conflicts, but I do not do edit wars :) .
