[edit] Funpika
FunPika (talk · contribs) I am requesting an editor review. I do various things on Wikipedia, look at my contributions to see them all. Please tell me if there are areas to improve in my editing. FunPika 23:05, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
Reviews
First, you put "Funpika" instead of "FunPika" in your userlinks, and that caused a minor technical glitch for me. You can actually change your username at WP:CHU to the lowercase form. (I just had a username change done tonight; I used to be YechielMan.)
Your answer to the first question is disappointing. You're the most proud of your vandal reverts, it seems, and they make up I'd guess around half of your 400 mainspace edits. As I've written to many other users, I discourage users from spending too much time on recent changes patrol. One user advised, let the bots do the work. I'm not saying it's not important, and I do help out from time to time, but really you should spend most of your time on tasks that require a human brain - such as article writing, categorization, good article reviewing, and so forth.
The first link you provided in Q2 was a textbook example of Wikilawyering. It was so bad, it was perfect. Basically, instead of focusing on the substance of the disagreement between you and Nick, viz. whether Wikisource was eligible for a deletion discussion, you tried to distract him by saying, I'm not a vandal, I'm not acting in bad faith...and that's true, but it's not the point. A lot of arguments fester because people fail to stay focused on the core issue. I remember fighting once with my little sister over a toy, and I said "is not!" and she said "is too!" and I said "is not" and she said "is too" and after repeating this exchange 30 times, we forgot what we were fighting about. That can happen to grown-ups, too. Try to avoid it.
I'm not even sure what to say about your threat to retire from Wikipedia. I hope you'll stay for a while. This is supposed to be enjoyable; if it weren't I'd stop doing it. I assume those were heat-of-the-moment thoughts.
I'm impressed by the breadth of your interests on the wiki. You always are finding a new idea to try. Keep learing, and I wish you good luck. Shalom Hello 05:29, 25 June 2007 (UTC)

Questions
- Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
- Currently I am only pleased with my vandal fighting (and I haven't even been doing much of that lately!) and new page controlling (Recently I have been doing that more often than vandal fighting actually). However in the future I hope to improve many Pokémon related articles (hopefully to Featured status). I recently created WP:GUSP2, a new version of WP:GUSP.
- Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- Earlier this month I did have a bit of an overreaction here. However in the future I will try not to overreact in such a way. If I get stressed out in such a situation the most I will do is take a 1-2 day Wikibreak. Also if a user reverts me, I will either leave it be, or revert and link to the appropriate discussion page to discuss the matter. The only exception will be when the revert was obviously in bad faith, but even then I will of course follow WP:3RR if the bad faith actions are not one of the exceptions (For example an editor can get blocked for reverting WP:SPAM violations).
Borrowed from Glen (talk · contribs), I'm sure he wont mind. These should test you editing skills, and show if you have any weaknesses which you can work on. So, just write your answer next to the Question. Good luck.
