EvanSeeds (talk · contribs) I've been a user for almost three years, but I've only spent about 6 of those months active (more than 100 edits). I'm planning on sticking around longer this time, and so I want to be the best editor I can. Right now I do mostly New Page Patrol and some stub sorting, as well as some minor work for WikiProject Musical Instruments. In the past I've done work on percussion pages, including a lot of work on Clash cymbals. I'd like to particularly broaden my WikiHorizons and become more a part of the community, participating in more aspects of the project. Evan ¤ Seeds 00:35, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

Reviews

  • I see that you are now being more active since December 2007 which is good. Your mainspace edit is ok in proportion to your total edit counts (roughly half). Since you want to increase your WikiHorizons, I suggest you contribute more on community related pages. Keep up your contributions on WP:ADOPT. You might also be interested in editing Portals. Portal:Music or its subportals would be a good start for you. --Lenticel (talk) 08:43, 28 March 2008 (UTC)

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
I'm proud of my work on Clash cymbals, although it is mostly unsourced, because it's one of the most used percussion instruments and needed (and still needs) a better article. I've also done a lot of anti-vandalism work, copy-editing, and some stub sorting. One thing I was particularly proud of, and received a barnstar for was moving all the language icons on the Jyllands-Posten_Muhammad_cartoons_controversy from the front to the back. I've also now joined WikiProject Tool and am starting up a Percussion WikiProject with User:Kakofonous
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
Nothing major, but I had a little run in with JohnnyBGood, but that was merely a misjudgment on my part, and was back in May '06.
