Eskimospy (talk · contribs) Hi, I have been editing Wikipedia since October (2006) and I just wanted to know how good of a job I have been doing; how can I become a better Wikipedia editor? eskimospy (talkcontribs) 21:17, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

Reviews

  • Hello Eskimospy, and thank you for requesting an editor review. Please understand that this editor review is intended to help you become a better Wikipedian, and is not meant to be an attack of any kind! You first started editing at 23:40, 18 October 2006, and as of Mon Jun 18 05:18:25 2007 GMT you have 1724 edits under your belt. That is great work! One thing that I would reccomend is using edit summaries more. An easy way to make sure you use edit summaries is to click "my preferences," go to the "editing" tab and check off "prompt me when leaving an edit summary box blank." That way, your edit summary count should go up. One thing that sticks out in my eyes is this: you give us things you hate and then you give us advice that you do not follow in the first mentioned section. It is totally fine to state things you dislike, but please do so in a respectful manner. You seem to be a great editor, please keep up the good work! Cheers! --wpktsfs 05:29, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
I am not particularly attached to any article (the article in which I contributed the most to is the Ecole Rockingham School article) however, I do revert a lot of vandalism (not all the time though, just in certain periods of time).
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
I have not been in any edit conflicts, but a lot of users were mad at me once for running an unauthorized bot (before I knew you had to get them approved.
