Reviews

Well I'll start out by saying the obvious which is that you have a lack of experience. You only have an edit count of 250. Having said that you still are an exceptional editor for someone with so little experience. Obviously you are just feeling your way around Wikipedia however you have still have exceptional edits. You have already aligned your self with Wiki Project Military which is excellent as well. Just get up your edit count and keep up the good work--St.daniel Talk 13:19, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

I have a few comments:

  • You should get to know copyright policy better if you plan to work with images. Image:Spinto Did I Ever Tell You.jpg will be deleted if it doesn't get a proper source, copyright tag, and fair use rationale, as detailed in Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline.
  • I'm curious as to why you created Image talk:Flag of Japan.svg with the comment "The Flag of Japan Talk page"- this doesn't really serve a purpose and isn't done unless there are some sort of special circumstances.
  • When you move a page, like you did with Nathaniel William Hamish Macleod, be sure to fix double redirects. I had to fix one here
  • Don't put fake protection tags on your user page, as you did here- it's confusing to administrators and other users, and it might confuse a bot at some point. If you'd like your user page to be semi-protected, ask an admin at WP:RPP. The full policy is at Wikipedia:Protection policy.
  • Many of your edits are vandalism-reversions or maintenance. If you're into that, that's cool, but sometimes it's a rewarding experience to collaborate and write about your interests (provided you have proper sourcing, that is)
  • Image:Blue Ornaments.jpg has some nice colours. Just thought I'd let you know.

I hope this helps. --Wafulz 19:39, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

Questions

1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?

  • I am particulary pleased with my contributions towards reverting vandalism and seeing that the new users feel welcome and that we are not biting them. "Why?" That's a hard question... I guess it's because I'm just the wikipedian that want some new and fresh knowledge that comes from happy and not angry users, and reverting vandalism is so helpful that people get their information quickly and easily, with no mistakes.

2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?

  • I have not been in many edit wars and do not plan to be in any (if I can help it). Most users that I have conversed with have been quite pleasent and blunt. Allowing me to quickly and effectively fix my mistakes, and making my contributions better.
  • In the future if I come up against any rude or unyielding users I intend to deal with it as ffiarly as possible and with a compromise if possible.
