AndonicO (talk · contribs) Hello Editor Review. I'd like to know what I'm doing right and what wrong, if my goal is to become an administrator next year in about April. On the edit counter below, you can see that I have ~6x more edits to my userpage than to mainspace; this is because I used to use my userpage as a sandbox (and because I have a large number of userboxes). I am now doing more on mainspace by reverting vandalism at Recent Changes. I have just begun to use a tool, popups, in order to make this easier. I joined the Mediation Cabal recently, and am working on my first case. If I should be doing anything else, please let me know. Thank you! | AndonicO Talk 18:35, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

I changed the number above to approximatly 6x more edits (previously 10x). | AndonicO Talk | Sign Here 22:04, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

  • If you want to become an admin you will definitely need more mainspace edits. If you don't have any specific interests, WP:CBM can always use your help. Get out there and edit articles!. --Ideogram 10:39, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
  • RFA regulars often look for Featured Article experience. Consider participating in WP:FAC. --Ideogram 23:41, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
  • Your a good friend and have some good edits but you (and I) need some more experience in FA's. —¡Randfan! 19:26, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
    Answer
Actually, as I said above, I have not contributed muct to mainspace. Of those edits that I have contributed, I feel most proud about Tres leches. Even though It doesn't seem like I did much on the edit counter, I added the external link, reorganised the article, added some more information, made it NPOV, and removed it's stub status. It still only gave me 6 edits though.
  1. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
    Answer
No, I'm proud to say I have not had any edit conflicts at all (because I don't have many mainspace edits). In real life, I consider myself a relativly calm person, as do others; I suspect this is how I shall be on Wikipedia when fellow editors get mad. I have just joined the Mediation Cabal (as I said above), and I will probably have more problems because of that.
  1. Question from Seadog.M.S,
This is a totally optional question, are you in the future planing to nominate yourself for administratorship or B-cratship. This will help others know in advance what to let you know what to improve since everything I have thought I have already told you.--Seadog 20:14, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
AndonicO's answer,
Yes, I would like to become an administrator, but not for another few months. What is the difference between an administrator and a bureaucrat (did I spell that right)? | AndonicO Talk 20:30, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
It may take longer than a few months to become an admin, also info on Bureaucrat's can be found Here.-- Seadog 02:35, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
AndonicO's answer,
Yes, I know. I meant about 6 months, and thanks for the link. | AndonicO Talk 10:13, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
