[edit] Biography
Mr. Edison Go Tan is currently the head of National Broadcasting Network New Media Division. He was born in Manila on September 10, 1985. Studied elementary to high school at Philippine Cultural High School Tondo, Manila and taken the course BS Computer Science in an 80 year old institution in Makati. He started his IT career when he was 14 years old. He became a member of the Programming Team of Philippine Cultural High School and became the coach of the same team after he graduated from high school. During college days, Mr. Tan focused on research and development. He became one of the officers of the Linux User Group and Messiah Developers Network.

He was involved in several projects for the government and the community. Metro-wide Wi-Fi network for the Philippine's largest city is one of them. He is also involved in the development of the new portal of the National Broadcasting Network.

Mr. Tan already worked for several companies including Intellectual Property Ventures Group (IPVG), Java Business Resource Center (JBRC) and many more before joining National Broadcasting Network in 2007.

One Nation Alliance aims to unite all the government agencies and institutions with the public sectors in helping the country improve for the good of the Filipino people. This initiative was started in 2007.

In spite of his hectic schedule, Mr. Tan still manages to do some other activities like malling and sports. He is good in badminton and bowling. He also loves swimming.

Mr. Tan loves to travel. He already visited Iloilo, Davao, Subic, Bataan, Puerto Princesa and more cities locally. South Korea and China are some of the countries he visited.
