Edison High School (San Antonio, Texas)

Thomas A. Edison High School is a local high school of the San Antonio Independent School District in North Central San Antonio, Texas (USA). The school was opened in 1929 on what is now the present-day campus for Benjamin Franklin Elementary School. It was relocated to its current location on 701 Santa Monica Blvd in 1958. Serving the San Antonio Independent School District, Edison boasts an enrollment of approximately 1700 students. According to www.psk12.com the faculty to student ratio is 1:15. Their mascot is the Golden Bear. The school's principal is Charles Muñoz.
