[edit] Print Facilities
Edipresse operates different printing plants in Switzerland. The Edipresse-Lausanne Printing Centre and the Edipresse-Geneva Printing Centre are both specialised in the printing of daily newspapers and periodic publications. Benefiting from the most modern installations, the Lausanne centre prints the three daily newspapers 24 heures, Le Matin and La Tribune de Genève, or more than 200,000 daily copies with an average length of 140 pages. The Sunday edition of Le Matin alone, amounts to over 200,000 copies.
The Geneva printing centre, located in the suburbs of the city, uses an offset rotary printing machine to produce the newspaper Le Temps, Le Matin Bleu, and several other periodic publications. As for the Imprimeries Réunies Lausanne, the quality of their work is used as a point of reference for editors, artists and advertisers. The plant is built on know-how which is demonstrated by the most demanding creations: books and art reviews, catalogues of large exhibitions, advertisements for luxury items. The skills developed in these areas are put to use on a diversified range of production - from the high-circulation magazine to the small item of printed matter - and are dynamically managed in a highly competitive sector on the international scale.
Finally, the last to arrive in the Edipresse Group was I-Press printing plant in Montreux. It possesses state-of-the-art printing machines that allow it to continuously improve the quality-to-price ratio of its services.
