From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Wisden Cricketers' Almanack is acknowledged to be the cricketer's equivalent of the Bible. It was founded by the cricketer John Wisden in 1864 and is still publishing today. There have been fifteen editors of the Almanack and the post is currently held by Matthew Engel, though Scyld Berry is editing the 2008 edition while Engel takes a sabbatical.
