[edit] Walter Baldwin
Thanks for adding the Walter Baldwin info on the Floyd Lawson page. I didn't even know that. Wavy G 07:56, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Otoliths
Thanks for adding the otolith picture. What was the length of the fish that they came from? Nerwen (talk) 08:27, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
- I do not know, as they were acquired at a processing plant in Alaska. They were among hundreds that collected in a drain under the machine that removed the heads. Edgewise 17:50, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Jesus Horse
Hi, Edgewise, I deleted the article Jesus Horse. While I encourage and thank you for your effort in writing an article, I'm afraid that certain guidelines are imposed on Wikipedia articles to make it have the scope of an actual encyclopedia. In this case, this was a neologism, and so was not kept. I encourage you to read our guideline on notability before creating a new article. Cheers. [edit] Dead links
Please see Wikipedia:Dead external links and not just remove dead links as you did to Oregon State University. Thanks. Aboutmovies (talk) 04:21, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] blueback
Blueback is a common term for an immature coho salmon, but I have never heard it used for a sockeye. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Willisda (talk • contribs) 21:13, 24 March 2008 (UTC)

- As noted in the Encyclopedia Britannica, "blueback" is a synonym for adult sockeye salmon.--Edgewise (talk) 00:24, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] OSU
I had only noticed the back and forth edits, I had not noticed till yesterday the continued retardation of the image and captions, both going against the WP:MOS. So I guess we will have to keep an eye on it, and if it gets to bad get it semi-protected. That would at least prevent the unregistered users, which we force AgentOrange to edit directly, which we could then move towards an RFC on the article or user for a more permanent fix. But unless it is a daily thing I doubt we could get semi-protection. Aboutmovies (talk) 18:54, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
- Please do not revert his edits. I agree that you are correct in "revered" being a weasel word, but revert warring will only get the page fully protected and that just sucks all around. Regards. Thingg⊕⊗ 18:31, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] 3RR
It looks like a clear violation of WP:3RR. I have a final in 1 hour, so I don't have time to report him/her, but feel free to yourself, but I would not revert again. Hopefully a 24 hour block will get their attention. I'll eventually file an RFC on the article, unless someone beats me to it. Aboutmovies (talk) 19:01, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
