The official crest/seal of Edgewood College is directly related to the Dominican Order, as its background is formed by the black and white shield of the Dominican Order. Three ancient symbols appear on the shields surface that mean or stand for: Christ, the Holy Spirit, and the Spirit of Truth and Love; Giver of Life.
