Edgeley is a mainly residential area within the town of Stockport, Greater Manchester. The town is situated south east of the city of Manchester, England, United Kingdom. The suburb is characteristised largely by Victorian close-packed terraced housing. It is famous, amongst other things for Edgeley Park, home of Stockport County F.C. and rugby union team Sale Sharks.

Edgeley is also home to Sykes' Reservoir which originally served an old bleaching works. The regeneration of the area has seen the mill lodge developed into a public space popular with anglers, duck-feeders and dog-walkers. The reservoir backs onto Alexandra Park which is located on the former site of Edgeley House. The park boasts a bowling green, a children's play area and a rather dilapidated crazy-golf course.

The commercial centre of Edgeley is the recently refurbished Castle Street.

Edgeley was the birthplace of the British film director Sidney Gilliat and is also the home of 2006 UK Eurovision Song Contest contestant Daz Sampson.

Richard Sykes, a member of the Sykes family who operated the Sykes Bleaching Works and lived at Edgeley House, founded the town of Edgeley, in North Dakota in tribute to his birthplace.
