Edge Banding

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Edge Banding is a type of veneer used in carpentry and furniture-making. It typically comes as a long, thin roll of material similar to tape. Edge banding is used to cover the exposed sides of materials such as plywood or particle board, giving the appearance of a solid (or more valuable) material. Edge banding can also be used instead of features such as face frames or molding.
