Edgar Marcelino (born September 10, 1984 in Coimbra) is a Portuguese footballer currently playing for AC Omonia of Cyprus. He is a midfielder but can also play as forward.
Marcelino started his career at Sporting CP. Then he played F.C. Penafiel, RBC Roosendaal and Vitória Guimarães. In January 2007 he signed with AC Omonia but failed to establish himself despite his obvious talent. His troublesome character maybe the reason he has not yet proved that he is an exceptional footballer and a worthy graduate of the Sporting CP academy. He is currently unattached after his contract with AC Omonia expired.
