Edgar González Moreno (born March 11, 1972 in Zamora, Mexico) is a Mexican architect and Blogger currently based in Madrid, Spain.

[edit] Architecture / Design
Since 1996, he has worked as graphic/editorial designer for different publisher, magazines and newspapers in London and Los Angeles like the Architectural Association in London, The Economist, The Guardian and Phaidon Press, among others.
In 2000 he came back to the architectural practice and started working for Zaha Hadid Architects in London, taking part on different projects such as JVC Hotel in Guadalajara, the One North Masterplan in Singapore or the ampliation of the Albertina museum in Vienna. In 2002 he moved to Murcia (Spain) to start collaborating with Arquitecturas Torres Nadal as project architect, in these years he started teaching collaborations with the University of Alicante in the Architecture degree and a Master on Complex Architectures. As well as some research about new social practices of the web applied to the education.
Currently he works in his own architecture studio as technologist, consultant and architect, and continues collaborating with the University of Alicante and contributing with different publications. His studio was funded by him and his partner, Roberto García-Monzón, in 2005.

Currently he is the editor of www.edgargonzalez.com a weblog about design, sustainability, art and architecture, which was recently awarded the 5th of Most Popular Blogs of architecture, list published by eikonographia. As well as many other recognitions among the Spanish speaking blogger community

He currently is doing some research at the University of Alicante dealing with new methods of socio-collabotarion within an educational architectural environment, and is lecturing about it widely, the results of this investigation can be seen at *http://www.proyectosarquitectonicos.ua.es/
He is also a lecturer at universities in Spain (Seville, Barcelona, Alicante, Madrid…) and Mexico, taken part in different art/architecture exhibitions. and Pecha Kucha talks at Alicante, Sevilla and Madrid

Edgar Gonzalez is the eldest of three children and was educated at preparatoria José Sixto Verduzco, got his Architectural Bachelor's degree at ITESO University (Western Institute of Technology) at Guadalajara, Mexico
