Edgar González (Mexican footballer)

Edgar González Franco (born July 3, 1980 in Toluca, Estado de Mexico) is a Mexican soccer player who currently plays as a striker for Club Toluca.
González made his debut with Club Toluca in the Apertura 2002 tournament against Necaxa. Toluca went on to win the championship against Monarcas Morelia. For the Apertura 2004, González was surprisingly purchased by Club America. González received almost no playing time at Club America, making only 2 appearances for a total of 24 minutes, before returning to Toluca.
