Edgar Evins State Park

Edgar Evins State Park, located near Smithville, is a state park in central Tennessee, USA. Containing around 6,000 acres (24 km²), the park is found on the shores of Center Hill Lake. Due to its proximity to Interstate 40 and its many recreational facilities, Edgar Evins State Park is a popular attraction in the area.

The park was named after Edgar Evins, a former state senator who was vital in the development of the Center Hill Dam and Reservoir. He was the father of former United States Representative Joe L. Evins.
