Edgar Jaime Pereira Bartolomeu (born September 14, 1976) is a former Angolan professional soccer player. Arriving in Canada as a youth, he has since retiring moved back to his native Angola.
Bartolomeu started off playing with the Toronto Lynx youth team until he signed a professional contract with the team in 1999. From there he would play two seasons for the Lynx playing 11 games. In 2002, he played for the Long Island Rough Riders in the USL Pro Soccer League, helping them to a championship. He also spent some time playing indoor soccer with the Buffalo Blizzard and the Philadelphia Kixx.
In 2003 Bartolomeu would sign for the MetroStars of Major League Soccer where he would play 18 games in total for the team, at the end of the season he was released by the team.
In 2004 Bartolomeu returned to the Lynx this time to be a starting left-back for the team where he played 23 games and scored his first career goal. The next season he only played 3 games because of a leg injury what kept him out for most of the season.
