Edgard Anthony Álvarez Reyes (born 18 January 1980 in Puerto Cortes) is a Honduran soccer player. He currently plays for A.S. Livorno. He can play anywhere on the right flank and is one of the fastest players in the world.
After a successful loan period, Roma paid €1.5 million to Peñarol, but immediately loaned him to Messina and granted the club an option to buy him for €1.9 million.
After a season 06/07 spent at Messina Edgar returned to Roma. At the summer transfer period As Roma bought Cicinho and Edgar decided to leave Roma for Livorno. He left because Roma is in excess of right midfielders.
