[edit] Proposed merge from Apollonopolis Magna

Much of the information on Apollonopolis Magna is outdated and needs to be rewritten. I propose incorporating the salvageable text into a section on 'The ancient city', as was done in the Esna article. Based on incoming links this does not appear to present any stylistic differences with the other articles on Egyptian cities or history. -- Meersan 02:51, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
