Edding
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
edding AG is a German company manufacturing writing and marking tools such as felt-tip pens and permanent markers. It has been founded in 1960 in Hamburg by Carl-Wilhelm Edding and Volker Detlef Ledermann. Since 1986, the shares have been dealt on the stock exchange.
The company is headed by two executives, Per Ledermann (since January 2005) and Benno Lohausen (since January 2000). Volker Ledermann does no longer preside over the executives board.
Until 1992, edding solely operated as distributor. After the acquisition of the brand "Markant", the first workshop has been established in 1993, which equaled the status of a competence center to date.
