Eddie Gavin is a fictional character on the FX drama Rescue Me. The character is played by Terry Serpico.
Eddie is Tommy's cousin and a lawyer (implied to be a rather bad one). Tommy asks for Eddie's legal advice in the first episode of the second season after Janet had kidnapped his kids and went to Ohio. Tommy and Eddie quickly got into argument about who was gayer. Eddie has rarely been seen since (he was at Johnny's funeral in season 3), he returns in the season four premiere to defend Tommy, who could face charges regarding the fire at Sheila's beach house. Later on in season 4, however, he is seen more often, due to the "Gavin AA Meetings."
