Subject: The correct Christian Calendar God defines the 7-day week in the Bible, which is God's written Word. The first day of the week: Genesis 1:2, which is Monday on our calendar; the second day of the week: Genesis 1:3, which is our Tuesday; the third day of the week: Genesis 1:4, which is our Wednesday; the fourth day of the week: Genesis 1:5, which is our Thursday; the fifth day of the week: Genesis 1:6, which is our Friday; the sixth day of the week: Genesis 1:7, which is our Saturday; the seventh day of the week: Genesis 2:1-3, which is our Sunday. Saturday and Sunday are refered to as the week-end, because, they are at the end of the week. God also refers to the seventh day of the week, and I quote from the authorised King James Version of the Bible: "And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made."

Comment: This subject needs further expansion to prove from the Bible that Christ rose from the dead on a Monday, the third day of His death.
