Ed Schneider is a former National Football League offensive tackle who played for the New York Giants in 1944. He attended Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas,and is one of three Ichabods to ever be drafted to the NFL. He was drafted in the 17th round (169th overall pick) in the 1944 NFL Draft. He became the first Washburn University player ever to be drafted in the NFL.
