Ed Sanders is an English carpenter, actor and television host.

Sanders was born on May 10, 1968(1968-05-10) in Wimbledon, London, England, and learned carpentry to help keep himself employed between acting jobs.[1]

In 1999, he landed the role of Eddie Moliano in the Sky One series Dream Team. He was a reporter for the morning show RI:SE, and eventually became host of the UK version of Fear Factor before becoming a carpenter on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

On May 18, 2007, Sanders began hosting the six episode run of National Bingo Night on ABC.

[edit] Extreme Makeover: Home Edition

Sanders currently works as a carpenter on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. He has been injured a few times while working, including wrecking his foot after trying to heal it with alcohol. He also severely injured his left hand during the filming of an episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition in Columbus, Ohio when he removed the guard from a piece of machinery he was using. He cut his hand to the bone trying to carve a wooden American flag. He was rushed to Riverside Methodist Hospital, and the subsequent operation left him unable to work for three months.

Sanders hosts the summer show National Bingo Night, where people have a chance to win big prize money by playing bingo.

Sanders's wife, Gioia, gave birth to triplet daughters on May 5, 2007 in Los Angeles, California: Scarlette, Azure and Lucia. They already have a son, Max (b. 2003).
