Ed Ryan

Edward Dennis Ryan (born on December 29, 1925 in Banff, Alberta, Canada) is a former National Football League defensive end with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
He grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia and attended college at Saint Mary's College of California. In 1948, he was drafted by the Steelers, 73rd overall, becoming one of the first Canadians ever drafted in the NFL. He went on to play 9 games that season, his only season in the NFL.
