Ed Cook (Edward Joseph Cook) was born on June 29, 1932 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Southeast Catholic (Philadelphia, PA), Cook attended the University of Notre Dame. Cook made his professional debut in the NFL in 1958 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the St. Louis Cardinals, Atlanta Falcons and Chicago Cardinals over the course of his 10 year career. He passed away on Sept 7, 2007 at the age of 75.
