Ed Bauer

Ed Bauer is a fictional character on the CBS soap opera Guiding Light. He is the grandson of Papa Bauer. His mother was Bert Bauer and his father was Bill Bauer. Ed Bauer has a son named Rick Bauer. His daughter is Michelle Bauer. He is a medical doctor. The character is currently not on the show, but is in New Orleans helping with Hurricane Katrina recovery.
In late February 2007, rumors surfaced that General Hospital actor Stuart Damon was being considered for an Ed Bauer recast.[1]
