Note: Though it states in the Guide to writing better articles that generally fictional articles should be written in present tense, all Tolkien legendarium-related articles that cover in-universe material must be written in past tense. [edit] Name as Battle-Cry

Removed: His name became a battle-cry for all Elves. I don’t recall this from my many re-readings of The Silmarillion or its drafts. Anárion 13:15, 23 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Well then it is probably in UT. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nitron Ninja Apple (talkcontribs) 22:00, 6 June 2006 (UTC)

It can be found in BoLT 2, under "Fall of Gondolin" (72.38.221.210 03:59, 12 April 2007 (UTC))

[edit] Orcrist

I added a link to the Orcrist page. This is because Orcrist is (disputedly) believed to have been weilded by Ecthelion, and thus they are related. Arguments for this relation can be found in the talk page of the Orcrist section. I would like to leave this open for discussion here for a period of time to get some input. Unless I see some opposition, I will likely add this bit of highly debated information. (Miguel Wonham 06:17, 18 June 2007 (UTC))
