The production company formed originally for Ecstasy the film, based on the book by Irvine Welsh.

Ecstasy is based on the #1 bestselling book by Irvine Welsh, writer of Trainspotting. Ecstasy is a dark romantic comedy, based on the controversial book, Ecstasy. Ecstasy, was translated into 20 languages and was a number one bestseller in over 20 countries. Mr. Welsh's first book, Trainspotting, published in 1993, (and voted by Waterstone's, Europe's largest bookstore chain, as one of the Ten Best Books of the Century), sold over 1 million copies in the UK alone, and has its own cinematic Cinderella success story.

Ecstasy Film Inc. now has a number of projects in development and in various stages of production. Ecstasy Film Inc. is also developing a slate of films for international co-productions. The Breadwinner written by Deborah Ellis. It is about a girl, Parvana, and her family as they survive in Afghanistan during a war.

A Canadian independent film production company located in Toronto, Ontario. Ecstasy Film Inc. is actively building a slate of theatrical films, television productions, documentaries and other media. They are funding pictures in the 2 to 20 million dollar range. We are also pursuing co-production opportunities, distributing completed projects, gap financing, and finishing projects in need of completion.
