Economical activity That's what the note is saying; the SADR have not implemented this treaty. Why would you delete this information? -Justin (koavf)·T·C·M 02:47, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
- The SADR is a govt-in-exile. It lives on financial support from Algeria and humanitarian international help in Tindouf camps on Algerian soil, outside of WS. That is not an "economical activity in WS". Morocco on the other hand has economical activity in WS, Morocco extracts fosfats and exports it to a number of countries including Spain. Morocco has international treaties that apply also to WS (the fishing accords with the EU). I hope this clarifies the situation.--A Jalil 07:34, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
- Okay... It does not clarify the situation, and that is not what I asked. You didn't answer my question: why would you delete this information? Also, you have a redundancy by saying that Western Sahara is administered by Morocco twice, and that statement is not entirely accurate, as Morocco does not administer Western Sahara, but a portion of Western Sahara. I don't know what you think an "economical activity" is, but the SADR has minted coins, sold lots for oil prospecting, and signed international treaties vis-a-vis the territory, so there is some "economical activity" there. -Justin (koavf)·T·C·M 04:02, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
- According to the definition of Economy, "An economy is the system of human activities related to the production, distribution, exchange, and consumption of values like goods and services in a particular geographic region.". The SADR does not produce anything in WS. Morocco does. The SADR does not distribute anything goods or services as the population is in Tindouf camps. The same applies to the exchange and consumption of goods and services. The coin used in Tindouf camps is the Algerian Dinar. The selling/signing related for oil prospecting and what you call international treaties are just ink on paper, and lead to no "production, distribution, exchange, and consumption of values like goods and services in" Western Sahara. This should clarify the matter more.--A Jalil 08:09, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
