--137.248.1.11 21:31, 11 December 2006 (UTC) The Federal Institute for Employment announces three unemployment rates each month, calculated by different statistics:

  • non-seasonally adjusted
  • seasonally adjusted
  • figures according to international standard (ILO).

Using the data that meet the ILO standard seems to me most appropriate, but indeed the other unemployment rates should be closer to reality.

Used the OECD unemployment figures, since they provide best comparability
