[edit] Economics/business footers
Hi, I noticed that you are adding economics/business footers to some pages. I should point out two things to you. First this could get you in trouble with of Wikipedians, and second, the list is out of date. When I started adding similar charts about a year ago, I was told to stop by a group of administrators. The charts I added way back then looked like this:
List of Marketing Topics | List of Management Topics |
List of Economics Topics | List of Accounting Topics |
List of Finance Topics | List of Economists |
I stopped adding this chart. Instead I started to use standard Wiki text markup as I was requested to do. That list was from a time that we had about 400 economics/business articles spread over 6 lists. Today we have about 1200 economics/business articles which are spread over 15 lists. Below is the latest economics/business list categories.
- list of marketing topics
- list of management topics
- list of economics topics
- list of finance topics
- list of human resource management topics
- list of accounting topics
- list of information technology management topics
- list of international trade topics
- list of business law topics
- list of production topics
- list of business ethics, political economy, and philosophy of business topics
- list of business theorists
- list of economists
- list of corporate leaders
Or if you prefer to see it in a chart, there is this chart that I put together:

The main reason why I felt it necessary to replace the previous footer was that it seemed less well adapted. After a few additions I realised that most of these postings had already been removed shortly after their posting. To replace something that is already obsolete is just moot and the operation has been discontinued. I will not mind if the footer is removed. -- Mic 07:41, Mar 11, 2004 (UTC)
