Are these the best pictures to describe Senegals economy?? Dakar is a major financial centre, why no pictures of the downtown skyscrapers? Somebody, edit, if you know how to..//Kuini86

[edit] Here are some other possible pictures from wikipedia commons

Any of these would probably be an improvement.

[edit] Cleaning up: still needs a rewrite with more sources

I've tried to address the concerns above, tried to balance the article, and ordewr what's there in some kind of logical fashion. It need less from the IMF / US government perspective, and more form a Senegalese perspective (or even a neighboring state's or French view, as these are their major trade partners). Needs historical background, discussion of Pre-colonial, colonial, and early independece. Role of the Muslim brotherhoods and other local cooperative capital sources. And a better statistical section. T L Miles (talk) 22:01, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

I'd like to integrate this into the article, and model it on Economy of South Africa. T L Miles (talk) 05:15, 8 February 2008 (UTC)
