The section on the recessions is factually wrong. A recession didn't occur in the late 80s and 1994, the only two recessions (by the definition of recession - decline in real GDP for two consecutive quarters) in Canada since 1980 have been 1980-81 and 1991-92. Not even the "almost-recession" of 2001 counts here. Someone with more knowledge than I should touch this up. Cdanek (talk) 17:15, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
