Talk:EcoCover

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

There are already two third-party sources about the subject, and I'm wondering what the problem with notability is. Johnfos (talk) 22:09, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

OK I give it notability, but be fair, it only seems to be one reference doubled in the same site and publication ;-). --Triwbe (talk) 22:20, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

Please understand that I'm not trying to be difficult, but why exactly are more citations needed? I would have thought that what has been said in the article is adequately supported and verified. Is there some particular fact that you are challenging? Johnfos (talk) 06:09, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

OK, I will clear up by showing my thought process. First I thought "is the article just promoting a company" WP:ADVERT#Advertisements masquerading as articles. To judge this we use Wikipedia:Verifiability, I suggest you read this page to understand my concerns. But by Wikipedia:Assume good faith I am trying to give you the chance to fulfil these guidelines and settle the matter so that the article remains. The alternative is to get others to judge but I find that messy process and that may result in the article being deleted.
Lastly, of course I searched for EcoVer on the web search and found 1000's of pages for, what I assume, is another company's Ecover cleaning products. So I could not easily verify things myself. Under WP:VERIFY#Burden of evidence that should be your job anyway :-) Your article is safe for now, I do not expect anyone to ask for deletion but can you find another source then we can close the discussion? Is that OK with you ? --Triwbe (talk) 06:50, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

Done. Johnfos (talk) 07:18, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

Great, thanks. --Triwbe (talk) 09:02, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
