Econofoods is a chain of grocery stores located in Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Wyoming. Econofoods is part of the Nash Finch Company, and is one of several supermarket brands operated by the company. The company is based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Econo Foods stores in Michigan, as well as two stores in Wisconsin, are privately owned and operated by T & C Markets of Brillion, WI.

Econofoods stores are generally full service stores - with a pharmacy, bakery, video rental, floral services, deliveries, and on-site banking facilities. The company offers a customer loyalty card as well, providing additional discounts on purchases. The chain slogan is "You'll love saving at Econofoods. Low prices with every bite"

All 5 Econofoods stores in Cedar Rapids, Iowa have closed. This in addition to stores in Charles City, Clinton, Cresco, Fort Madison, Iowa City, Muscatine, Manchester, Marshalltown, Waterloo, Cedar Falls, and Fairfield, Iowa. Also, Stores in Rochester, Winona, Minnesota; Freeport Peru, Illinois; Cheyenne Wyoming, Chilton, Wisconsin and one store in Hudson, Wisconsin have been closed. The store in Ottumwa, Iowa has been rebranded as a Wholesale Food Outlet, another Nash Finch chain.

Econofoods stores are open, for now: in Illinois: Galesburg and Monmouth; in Iowa: Clear Lake, Dubuque.
