Echo Lake is a lake in California, located in El Dorado County about 2 miles (3 km) off Highway 50 at Echo Summit. There is an Upper lake and a Lower lake. The lake is at about 7,600 foot (2,300 m) altitude and has little development beyond lakeside cabins.
