Echevarria

Echevarria or Echevarría are Spanish spellings for the Basque surname and placename Etxebarria ("the new house") corresponding to Standard Basque Etxeberria. This spelling represents the branch of the family which originated in Biscay, as opposed to other variations such as "Echeverria" and "Etcheverry." The Biscayne branch of the family originated in the town of Dima, grew to the neighboring town of Zeanuri, and eventually spread to the nearby city of Vitoria-Gasteiz. It may refer to:
