Trying to get pictures of every National Register of Historic Places site in Florida. This is my checklist. Help always appreciated! :)




Thirty-seven of them are National Historic Landmarks.

This list is complete as of January 5, 2007 [1]

Note: There are 97 sites that are listed with Address restricted. They're mostly archaeological ones, and I gather it's to protect them from looting and the like. Some of them have become available to the public. But unless one has connections, we may not get any pictures of some of them, fair use or otherwise.

Note: Entries highlighted like this are state parks or National Wildlife Refuges.

Also, please see the talk page, for discussion of coordinating picture taking efforts. Since folks are scattered all over, maybe we can avoid duplicating efforts. Though, mind you, can one have too many pics of any one of these?

    • Kanapaha - only open a few hours on Saturdays and Sundays, have to go back when it's open - UPDATE: open Saturdays from 10:00AM to 2:00PM and Sundays from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Five dollars to get in, though, for hour long tour. Worth it, since I only need some exterior shots?

    • Cherokee Grove - directions too vague, so didn't even try to find, more research required
    • Vocational Agriculture Building - couldn't find, might be part of Bunnell High School, but the school was all locked up, so couldn't get in, but it should have been opposite school according to street numbers, but there was no sign of anything likely, so either part of school or torn down totally or moved
