[edit] Deletion tag removal
The deletion tag was removed because the page is still under construction. This was made clear in the edit summary (for those who havn't read yet, the under construction tag was removed because it would be more than a week before any updates could be added).
However to address the concern that user 69.122.80.98 tagged it for (Advertising)
- 1. This is not a Commercial product for the public. While it is sold for profit, it is designed for schools, not the consumer.
- 2. Its a stub article (as of now), which briefly describes what product does, and mentions that schools across the country use it. The artcle isn't named eboard.com, nor mentions the site's address at all in the main article. The 2 links to its wesbite, are contained within the website info box (which is pre-coded with a spot for the url), and the external links portion of the article, which is pretty standard in all WP articles, regradless if its a commercial site or not. If thats too much, a editor should feel free to WP:Be_bold, and remove 1 or both links.
- 3 The reason I created this page, is because my former HS Washington Township High School (New Jersey) uses this product, and I was interested in learning more. However WP had nothing. I have a NPOV on this. I don't care if eboard fails or succeeds, and I certainly have no reason to simply advertise them. The first eboard was indeed deleted as advertising. Altough I asked the deleting admin why, and what exactly about it was advertising on his/her talk page. He/she never answered me. So I recreated the article, and purposly removed anything that could be considered advertising (outside the name, and a link). I even removed the screen shot image (which ofcoarse showed any advertising of eboard.com's main page, when viewed in full size) to a simple logo. This inturn made it less descriptive, which is why i'm still in the process of building this page.
- 4. If you feel anypart on here is advertising, please feel free to tell me, and I will try to reword it, or remove it. Thank you.

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Eboardhome.gif
Image:Eboardhome.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
