- Hi Ebaben3, thank you for contribution on Karmen vortices. I can understand frustration in seeing your first contribution tagged so quickly for deletion. If I might offer a suggestion, new articles are monitored by volunteer users who are not and can not be profficient on evert field. We get an enormous number of new articles that are quite frankly garbage. This article seems to be on interesting and notable topic and the encyclopedia will better for a full article on it. However, your initial edit may it difficult for anyone not versed in the topic to know what the article was about. Might I suggest starting each article with a sentence on the order of "Foo is a foo thing". I have modified the Karmen vortice article to start this way. If my definiion is in erro please feel free to discard it. I look forward to your longer article. Dsmdgold 01:57, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

- Nice expansion. I have made a few formatting changes and added some basic wikilinks. I have also moved the article to Karmen vortice as it is naming policy for articles titles that are nouns to be singular. There is still a redirect from Karmen vortices so that someone entering that will still end up at the article. I note that in the article the scientest's name is spelled Karman not Karmen. Is that correct? If so should this be at Karman vortice? Are both spellings used? If so, we can make more redirects. Also does Von Karman have a given name? Dsmdgold 03:25, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
- Since Von Kármán vortex street is more detailed, I went ahead and redirected Karmen vortice there. If you feel there is more you can add to Von Kármán vortex street, please be bold and add it. (For example a more generalized discussion like the one you started might be useful. The current article goes way over my head very quickly. Dsmdgold 19:22, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
