Eaton Vance (NYSE: EV)is an American financial services company headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts.[1] At the end of the second quarter of the 2006 fiscal year, the company had assets under management of $118.8 billion.[1] . Eaton Vance is known as a wealth management company with products and services offering in mutual funds, variable trust funds, charitable giving, institutional services, international services, and investment counsel.
The Company was created in 1979 with the merger of two Boston-based investment firms: Eaton & Howard, founded in 1924, and Vance, Sanders & Company, founded in 1934.
