[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:555555555555 -Converted-.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:555555555555 -Converted-.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
. If you have not already done so, please also include the source of the image. In many cases this will be the website where you found it.
Please specify the copyright information and source on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. - Mike Rosoft 11:01, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:Oldxiushui.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Oldxiushui.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Do not tag uploads with {{GFDL-presumed|Username}} because as the uploader, you should know whether the image is licenced under the GFDL! (Also Username should be substituted with your user name!) Given your form, I assume that image:QjdA.jpg are copyvios but I will give you a little time to tag them properly. -- RHaworth 07:01, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:QjdK.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

[edit] Hello
I appreciate your determination to improve the Quanjude and Silk Street pages. It looks like you've put a lot of effort into them. I still have concerns about the images that you have chosen to upload.
Wikipedia has certain policies about images that are uploaded. They are explained at Wikipedia:Image use policy. Wikipedia could get in trouble if it uses copyrighted material, so there are editors who look through contributions to prevent copyrighted material from being used.
You attribute the QjdX.jpg series of images to "Joe". We need more information about Joe, so that we can contact him and make sure he has really released all rights to it.
If you (as the uploader) really created the images Image:Silkalley2.jpg and Image:Oldxiushui2.jpg which are also seen at chinatour.com, then we need some way to confirm that you are allowed to publish it under the GFDL license.
If People's Daily Online has really "irrevocably released all rights" to Image:Insidesstreet.jpg which appears in this article which says "all rights reserved", we need some evidence of that release. The same is true of Image:Kaoya.jpg.
I will be listing all of these images at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images so that more knowledgeable editors may determine whether Wikipedia can retain these images. I will not post individual messages for each of them here, since there are plenty of those notices already here.
I encourage you to add the information needed to maintain the use of these images or work to find suitable images for your pages. ~ BigrTex 18:43, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Sstreet.gif
Hi. When you uploaded Image:Sstreet.gif, you did not specify complete source and copyright information. Another user subsequently tagged it with {{GFDL-presumed}} and, for some time, it has existed on Wikipedia under the assumption that you created the image and you agreed to license it under the GFDL. This assumption, however well-meaning, is not legally sufficient and the tag is being phased out. Images using it are being deleted.
This image has been tagged for deletion and will be deleted in one week if adequate copyright information is not provided.
If you, personally, are the author of this content, meaning that you took the photograph yourself or you created the chart yourself (and it does not use any clipart that you did not create), please retag the image with a free image copyright tag that correctly describes your licensing intentions, usually {{GFDL-self}} or {{PD-self}}. Please also make sure if you have not already done so that you write a good description of what the image depicts, when you took the photo, and other important details. This will allow Wikipedia to continue using the image.
If you did not create the image or if it is derived from the copyrighted works of others, please keep in mind that most images on the internet are copyrighted and are not suitable for use on Wikipedia. Wikipedia respects the copyrights of others and does not use images unless we know that they have been freely licensed. Any creative work is automatically copyrighted, even if it lacks a copyright notice. Unless the copyright holder has specifically disclaimed their rights to the image and released it under the GFDL or another compatible license, we cannot use it. If you did not create the image, and cannot make the image compliant with Wikipedia:Non-free content, simply do nothing and it will be deleted in a week. All other non-free images must follow these rules.
Please feel free to contact me on my talk page or leave a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions with any questions you may have. Thank you. Aksibot 09:21, 3 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Quanjudesign2.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Quanjudesign2.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 03:47, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] 全聚德
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on 全聚德, by Vampire the Buffy Slayer (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because 全聚德 fits the criteria for speedy deletion for the following reason:
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting 全聚德, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 19:25, 13 July 2007 (UTC)
