[edit] Creation Date?

The concept was apparently borne from a comical drawing sketched out by Kevin Eastman during a casual evening of brainstorming with his friend Peter Laird in 1983.

I'm not sure 1983 is correct. Is there a source for that date? See my comment in Talk:Teenage_Mutant_Ninja_Turtles#Origin_of_the_Name. --Jczorkmid 13:55, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
